Sugar Maple Home · Kentwood, Michigan

Home Begins Here.

A warm, respectful assisted living alternative and adult foster care home where every person is seen, valued, and supported as an individual.

A small home with a big heart

Care that feels personal.

Sugar Maple Home is part of Marie Angels Care Homes LLC. For families searching for assisted living, senior care, or support for an aging loved one, we offer adult foster care in a calm, comfortable residential home.

Our small-home setting is an alternative to a larger assisted living facility. Residents receive personal support, supervision, home-cooked meals, medication support, and care coordination based on their individual needs.

Our approach begins with dignity. We take time to understand each resident's routines, preferences, strengths, and support needs so care feels respectful, consistent, and truly personal.

“No one should feel invisible.”

Maria Chamorro

Founder & Administrator of Marie Angels Care Homes

Maria founded Marie Angels Care Homes with a simple belief: no one should ever feel invisible. She believes care should feel personal, respectful, and rooted in the comfort of home.

Her goal is to create calm, welcoming spaces where residents are known as individuals. Their routines, preferences, strengths, and stories all matter. Maria's approach centers on dignity, safety, meaningful connection, and helping each resident continue living a life that feels familiar and valued.

Who we serve

A welcoming home for adult men.

We welcome adult men age 18 and older who would benefit from a mature, calm home environment. Residents may benefit from support related to aging, mental health, developmental disabilities, mild memory changes, traumatic brain injury, or physical limitations.

Every referral is reviewed individually to make sure the home is a safe and appropriate fit.
